Director of Pre-construction and Partner Support (252-109)

The Stem Director of Pre-construction and Partner Support is responsible for overseeing all pre-contract activities including but not limited to sales engineering, project installation cost estimating, proposal response development, EPC onboarding and training, new permitting authority/AHJ energy storage training. The Director is a leadership oriented professional with substantial electrical contracting experience in the commercial and industrial space.
Job Summary:
Leading a team of sales engineers and application engineers.
Oversee the technical response to Customer RFPs.
Standardize on Stem's EPC and Partner Onboarding Process.
Create and maintain EPC and Partner training content.
Provide energy storage installation training to new EPCs and Partners
Create and maintain New AHJ permitting orientation and training.
Provide energy storage fire, safety, installation, and related permitting training to local AHJ/permitting agencies who have not worked with energy storage systems in the past.
Manage Stem's installation estimating and cost roadmap tools and processes.
Work collaboratively with Sales and Business Development on new market opportunities.
Establish a network of qualified engineering firms and EPCs who can provide cost effective and high-quality performance for Stem projects;
Negotiate and administer contracts with engineering design firms and EPCs.
Manage the utility interconnection applications for our projects
Create engineering solutions for installation of unique sites, new product types, and/or installations in new markets
Required Skills

Ability to work through challenging situations with limited oversight
Command of typical business software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
A strong knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics related to commercial and industrial facilities as well as single line diagrams, distribution voltages and systems.
Experience in business development (BD) is needed along with strong customer relationship skills.
Required Experience
The Candidate has exemplary electrical contracting experience.
The Candidate has familiarity with relevant UL, IEEE, NEC and NFPA codes and is well-versed in construction best practices.
The Candidate has at least five years of demonstrated experience leading pre-construction functions for commercial and industrial electrical construction.
Experience with Energy Storage and Solar distributed energy projects preferred.
The Candidate has a B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or other related discipline from a reputable university. Other B.S. degrees and/or applied experience will be considered in lieu of previously highlighted degrees.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
