Hospital Manager of Coding Analysis and Education

The Manager of Coding Analysis and Education will supervise the performance of routine and special project audits of clinical documentation and billed services. These audits will primarily be used to determine correct coding and billing by clinical staff and to provide educational feedback.


The Manager of Coding and Education will also be responsible for new provider coding education and follow up to the affiliated medical group staff to ensure the Foundation/Medical Group meets the organization's Coding Compliance regulations and standards.


 The Coding Analysis and Education Manager will generally have at least 3 years of experience in a physician practice setting with experience including billing and/or coding for Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payers. Experience in Patient Financial Services is helpful.


 Demonstrated experience training physicians in billing and coding issues. Experience in preparing curriculum for staff and physician level education is required. Clinical/Compliance auditor experience should include coding and compliance audits, including documentation and medical record reviews and reimbursement analysis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
