Data Operations Analyst, Tariffs (223-109)

Tariffs and associate pricing are a fundamental component of Stem's service offering ? bill savings for commercial and industrial customers, and ensure proper operation of our systems. To this end, Stem is seeking a Tariff Operations Specialist. You will be a key player in the daily operations of our fleet of distributed energy resources. You will test and verify that our savings calculations are accurate. You will manage critical third party data services and administer key financial reference data. This position provides a front seat to the successful operation of distributed energy storage systems. You should be detail oriented, methodical, a strong communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starting environment.
Manage Stems tariff database to support real-time operations, sales and business development
Act as point person for relationships with data services providers
Maintain tariff and related information
Act as subject matter expert regarding routine rate and billing schedules
Test and verify data quality related to utility tariffs and billing schedules
Test and verify third-party data services
Ensure timeliness and availability of all mission critical data services
Manage changes and evolution of data APIs and coordinate system updates to ensure seamless operations
Work with product teams to determine both temporary and permanent solutions to system issues related to data operations and interoperability with data services providers
Monitor, track and resolve operational issues and improve operational efficiency
Develop weekly and monthly KPI reports and metrics
Prepare and maintain documentation of both existing and new processes
Required Skills
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of speed and accuracy
Strong quantitative analytic skills with demonstrated proficiency with technical concepts
Ability to learn quickly and produce quality work under tight deadlines
Able to think creatively to resolve problems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with helping to define, document and implement workflows and process
Preferred experience with Jira
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to be both a team leader and hands-on player on the team
Required Experience
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, mathematics, economics, or related field
Two-four years relevant energy utilities rate experience
Master's degree is considered equivalent to one year of experience
Knowledge of renewable energy is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
