We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Superintendent with a passion for the Construction industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team and oversee all on-site construction activities.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be directly involved in a wide variety of projects, including restaurant build-outs and general contractor tasks.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Superintendent, your core duties will include:
1.
Supervising all on-site construction activities, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
2.
Managing job site supervision to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
3.
Coordinating and overseeing the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
4.
Ensuring that all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
5.
Documenting and reporting all project activities and progress to senior management.
6.
Managing the closeout process efficiently.
7.
Leading restaurant build-outs and acting as a general contractor when required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role in the Construction industry.
2.
Proven experience with restaurant build-outs and acting as a general contractor.
3.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
4.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
5.
Exceptional leadership and management skills.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
8.
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
9.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
11.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
