The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children ages 6-14.
The Camp Counselor will be responsible for providing daily supervision to students in our day camp and summer camp programs.
The individual must have an understanding of how to ensure the safety of students in a camp setting, as well as the ability to work with various staff and departments of Adventures in Writing.
Skills Understanding of child development and child care Strong interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with children Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Positive attitude and passion for helping kids Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities:
Provide positive guidance, support, and discipline according to program policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Work with teachers and supervisors in coordination with all necessary personnel.
Attend all required staff meetings.
Camp runs June 17-28th Job Type:
